Rio Grande took delivery of these boxcars in July of 1966. They were also assigned for loading at the GM plant in Indianapolis on the PRR. Rio Grande had no parts or assembly plants on their lines but they were part of a bridge route between Indianapolis and assembly plants in California and were thus obliged to contribute cars to the pool. This paint scheme will be availabe in 3 road numbers.Heartland Hobby Wholesale for delivery in ’24.
